DC Spotlight — three underrated DC runs that deserve a place on your reading list:
1. Starman (1994) James Robinson and Tony Harris turn legacy heroics into a story about memory, family, antiques, and a city with a soul. Jack Knight is not the usual cape-and-costume hero — that's the point. ✅ DC Universe canon.
2. The Question (1986) Dennis O'Neil and Denys Cowan make Vic Sage less like a standard vigilante and more like a hard-boiled philosophical wound walking through Hub City. Noir, martial arts, politics, and identity crisis. ✅ DC Universe canon (New Earth).
3. Hitman (1996) Garth Ennis and John McCrea drop a super-powered contract killer into Gotham and somehow make it funny, brutal, and weirdly heartfelt. Yes, it's in the DC Universe. Yes, Batman shows up. ✅ DC Universe canon.
